Nurturing the Next Generation Through Children’s Ministry

Children are a precious gift and an important part of the Church’s future. Helping them develop a strong foundation in faith, kindness and moral values is a meaningful responsibility shared by families, Sunday school teachers and the wider Christian community.

The CSI Coimbatore Diocese Children’s Ministry focuses on nurturing children’s understanding of Christianity and the love of Christ. Through Sunday school, Bible learning, songs, storytelling and other learning activities, children can discover Christian values in ways that are engaging and suitable for their age.

These experiences offer more than knowledge of Scripture. They can also encourage children to develop compassion, respect, responsibility and a willingness to help others.

Teachers and volunteers play an important role in creating welcoming environments where children feel encouraged to learn, ask questions and grow spiritually.

As parents, teachers and church members, we can support this mission by encouraging children to practise what they learn and by setting positive examples through our own actions.

Bible Verse: “Let the little children come to me.” — Matthew 19:14

Closing message: Let us work together to nurture a generation that grows in wisdom, faith, kindness and love.
